Call for Collaboration
People with disabilities and the elderly facing especially difficult circumstances deserve to be heard, respected, and cared for. Beyond material support, they seek dignity, opportunities, and a loving, inclusive community.
Since then, with the invaluable support of our sponsors and donors, we have delivered over 715 wheelchairs to individuals in need across Tiền Giang, Đồng Tháp, Tây Ninh, Sóc Trăng, Đắk Lắk, Quảng Nam, Côn Đảo, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh.
In 2025, we look to continue and expand our impact—bringing mobility and healthcare to more lives across Vietnam.
Heart To Heart is proudly organized by JCI South Saigon, a chapter of JCI Vietnam. As a nonprofit and official UN partner, JCI unites young active citizens worldwide who are committed to personal growth and building a better society.

"In modern society, people with disabilities and the elderly living in difficult circumstances continue to face numerous barriers in accessing healthcare, education, and a quality life. According to the 2023 Disability Survey, 7.31% of individuals aged 16 and above are living with disabilities, with a higher prevalence in rural areas (8.36%) compared to urban areas (5.59%). Particularly, the North Central and Central Coastal regions report rates as high as 9.1%.
In addition, the elderly account for approximately 12% of the population, with the majority lacking pensions or social protection.
From this reality, the project was initiated with the aspiration to spread compassion and create opportunities for vulnerable individuals to be cared for, respected, and empowered to live better lives — in line with the spirit of “leaving no one behind” as outlined in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals."

*As the demand for wheelchair support from organizations and individuals is still being updated by the project organizers, the
actual number of wheelchairs needed will be announced on the Heart to Heart project's website and fanpage.
